![]() I chose a 1930’s evening gown dress that was bias cut and had ruffles at the front, which was said to be a fushcia pink chiffon and have a edging of ribbon. This dress was the result of another University project, where we had to pick a dress pattern from one of the three Janet Arnold:Patterns of Fashion books, which came in three different sections 1560-1620, 40, and make it into a half scale garment.Įach book is made from patterns Janet Arnold has created by looking at dresses in Musuems, and has details on the colour and type of fabric used and also the finishings. Most of these dresses belong to me or friends and family, so I will try and do another post showing us all wearing them, but if you like to look or details of any do get in contact for a quote □ Up next is again a simple style with nice details of bows on the skirt and sleeves, in this amazing blue tea pot fabric Īnd finally another simple tea dress with a detachable sash in the grey hummingbird printed cotton The next style is very simple but very flattering with long sleeves and a detailed neckline, in a dusty pink polka dot The next style is seen in a grey hummingbird print and teal green polka dots, and is styled after one of my Nan’s dresses This dress would suit any shape or size as the a-line skirt is flattering and the peplum is very in style at the moment, also comes with three quarter length sleeves (which could be changed). So firstly is the peplum dress in dark red polka dots All of these dresses are samples and are made to order in any size and any fabric you require.Īt a later date I plan to post pictures of myself and others in these dresses so that it is easy to see what they look like on a person. The dresses that feature in this post were designed and made by me, choosing a selection of printed cotton fabrics and having 5 different designs. Posted in miscellaneous 1940’s Afternoon/Tea dresses If you like the look of the bag but would prefer another colour or even in this colour check out my ebay store as I have all the details on there how to get one! I love how the bag turned out and I use it everyday as its so big it can fit alot of things into it so would be handy for work and travelling, I also put pockets onto the inside on the lining to store mobile phones, keys and oyster cards. I did orignally want to put handbag rings onto the handles of the back but thought for my first try at working with leather I could do something simplier:) I also purchased the printed cotton lining from a shop on Goldhawk Road which is a graphic print in purple, which I liked to contrast the neutral tone of the leather. I had to get two hides to cut out this bag in a creamy soft lambskin. I brought the leather hides from one of the many fabric shops on Goldhawk Road in Shepherd’s Bush, where they had a very large selection of colours and variations for good prices. This is a handbag I decided to make for myself whilst I was looking for a real leather handbag but in the shape and style of another one I had, and for the life of me could not find, so I decided to make one. If you would like some customised pokemon trainers, vans or converses please contact me on my email for a quote. Least to say my boyfriend was very chuffed with these Van-like trainers as they are completely unique and look awesome, and we also have plans for more pokemon trainers for his birthday □ I placed Umbreon (Dark-type) onto the right foot’s left side Īnd finally Leafeon (Grass-type) which is a second generation pokemon and unfortunately my boyfriend didn’t actually know it, but one out of 6 isn’t bad Then I chose three others that I knew he would like, including Flareon (Fire-type) on the left foot’s left side ![]() I chose my favourite Vaporeon (Water-type) to go onto the front of the right foot Then I wanted to do 5 of Eevee’s evolutions so I chose his favourite Jolteon (Electric-type) to go onto the front of the left foot ![]() So on the right shoes right side we have Eevee The idea of these shoes is the Evolutions of Eevee, which is a baby pokemon that can evolve into different kinds of pokemon using different elements. These were a Valentines day present to my boyfriend as I know he is a pokeman fan and knew nobody else would have them, although he is very scared to wear them outside because he doesn’t want to ruin them. I wanted to do this post as it is something I have never really done before and although I did not make the shoes I did customise them by drawing and colouring the pokemon and backgrounds.
